The price of standard gold per kilogram on the Borsa Istanbul Precious Metals and Precious Stones Market (KMKTP) rose 0.6% to 6 million 644 thousand 1 liras at the close of trading on Friday.
The kilogram price of standard gold fluctuated between 6 million 566 thousand 900 liras and 6 million 900 thousand liras during the session. It had closed at 6 million 603 thousand liras on the previous trading day.
Total trading volume in gold on the KMKTP reached 3.15 billion liras, while the total trading volume stood at 476.61 kilograms.
Across all metals, total trading volume amounted to 3.206 billion liras.
The institutions with the highest trading activity in the gold market were Türkiye İş Bankası, Uğuras Precious Metals, Vakıf Katılım Bankası, NMGlobal Precious Metals, and Albayrak Foreign Exchange and Gold Authorized Exchange Office.
Gold Prices in the Market
The previous closing price for standard gold was 6 million 603 thousand liras per kilogram, while the weighted average price during the session was 6 million 615 thousand 125.81 liras.
The international gold price reached $4,224 per ounce at the close, compared with a previous closing level of $4,180 per ounce.
