ISTANBUL — The price of standard gold per kilogram rose to 7.415 million Turkish lira on the Borsa Istanbul Precious Metals and Diamond Market (KMKTP) at the close of trading, reflecting continued activity in Türkiye’s gold market.
During the trading session, the kilogram price of gold fluctuated within a narrow range before finishing the day at 7,415,000 lira, according to market data.
Strong trading volume
Trading in the gold market remained active throughout the day. The total transaction volume in gold reached billions of lira, while a significant quantity of gold changed hands on the exchange.
Market data also showed that several financial institutions and precious-metal companies were among the most active participants in the trading session.
Key market for precious metals
The KMKTP, operating under Borsa Istanbul, is the main marketplace for precious metals trading in Türkiye. Prices established on the exchange serve as an important reference point for the domestic gold market and for investors tracking gold price movements.
