Gold prices increased at Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Precious Stones Market (KMKTP) on the first trading day of the week, with the kilogram price of standard gold rising to TRY 6.425 million.
During the session, standard gold traded between a low of TRY 6.291 million and a high of TRY 6.480 million per kilogram. By the end of the day, the price posted a 2.1% increase, closing at TRY 6.425 million per kilogram.
On Friday, standard gold had closed at TRY 6.290 million per kilogram.
Total transaction volume in the gold market amounted to TRY 14.918 billion, with a total traded quantity of 2,341.24 kilograms. Across all metals, total transaction volume reached TRY 14.919 billion.
The most active institutions in gold trading during the day were NMGlobal Precious Metals, Vakıflar Bank, Vakıf Katılım Bank, İAR Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals, and Istanbul Gold Refinery.
