Quarter and Gram Gold Prices Drop Amid Market Fluctuations
The gold market witnessed a slight decline today, with the price of a kilogram of standard gold falling to ₺2,644,000, marking a 1.8% decrease from the previous day. Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Precious Stones Market (KMKTP) reported that the day’s trading saw the price of standard gold fluctuate between ₺2,644,000 and ₺2,700,000, eventually closing at the lower end.
The total trading volume in the gold market reached ₺1.41 billion, with a transaction amount of 527.86 kilograms. Leading the trading activity were institutions such as Rona Döviz ve Kıymetli Maden Ticareti, Zirve Değerli Madenler, and Vakıf Katılım Bankası.
