Goldman Sachs increased Turkiye’s growth forecast

US bank Goldman Sachs increased its growth forecast for Turkiye this year from 3.5% to 5.5%.

Goldman Sachs increased its growth forecast for Turkiye this year from 3.5% to 5.5%. Goldman increased its current account deficit estimate from $36 billion to $45 billion.

Goldman Sachs announced that the Central Bank’s (CBRT) foreign exchange reserves have increased sharply since the third week of June and updated its macro forecasts with a lower external financing constraint.

The Turkish economy grew 7.5% in the first quarter and 7.6% in the second quarter.
