
GÜBRETAŞ, one of Turkey’s leading fertilizer producers, has taken a significant step in the sale of its stake in Iran’s Razi Petrochemical. The company announced through the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that an auction for its 48.88% shareholding was held today.
According to the statement, the results of the auction will be submitted by the tender commission to the company’s Board of Directors for evaluation.
Auction Process Completed
The auction was held in line with the decision taken by the GÜBRETAŞ Board of Directors in recent weeks regarding the sale of its 48.88% stake in Razi Petrochemical.
In its disclosure to KAP, the company said:
“Further to our announcement on September 17, 2025, regarding the sale process of our shares in our subsidiary Razi Petrochemical Co., the auction scheduled for September 26, 2025 has been carried out. The auction results will be presented to our Board of Directors by the Tender Commission for assessment.”

GÜBRETAŞ made its first international investment in 2008 by acquiring a 48.88% stake in Razi Petrochemical, one of Iran’s largest petrochemical facilities.
