Helal Expo 2025” NOV Special Zone to Create New Trade Opportunities

The Natura, Organic, Vegan (NOV) special zone, one of the dedicated sections of Helal Expo 2025, is set to offer new trade opportunities and establish a strategic commercial network contributing to the economy. According to a statement from the World Halal Summit Council, the 11th World Halal Summit and Helal Expo 2025—organized under the auspices of the Turkish Presidency, in cooperation with the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), and coordinated by the Ministry of Trade and the Halal Accreditation Agency, with Anadolu Agency (AA) as the Global Communication Partner—will present new potentials in global trade.

This year’s event will feature the NOV special zone, highlighting the rapidly rising global trend of natural, organic, and vegan products. More than just a platform that promotes sustainable living, the NOV area also connects participants and visitors with global organic and vegan markets, creating a strategic trade network that significantly contributes to the economy. The zone will showcase a wide array of products—from food and beverages to cosmetics, clean-label personal care items, agriculture, and environmental products.

The NOV section will enhance the visibility of local producers while enabling them to meet global buyers, thereby strengthening Türkiye’s trade volume and supporting its economic expansion.

During the event, purchasing delegations, investors, and global brands will engage with producers, opening doors to new markets and high-volume trade agreements. National and international buyers, importers, and distributors of organic and vegan products will also take part in the event.

NOV is expected to host thousands of professionals in sectors including food, beverages, packaging, specialized nutrition, beauty, cosmetics, agriculture, environment, and sustainability. Throughout the event, the area will serve as a venue for B2B meetings, country business forums, and health-focused conferences.

Last year, the NOV special zone attracted significant attention, welcoming more than 9,000 international visitors, over 500 exhibitors, representatives from more than 50 countries, and more than 50,000 total visitors.

Global and Turkish Natural, Organic, and Vegan Markets Continue to Grow

According to the statement, global natural, organic, and vegan markets continue to expand. The natural and organic food market reached an estimated value of 224.4 billion dollars in 2024, and it is projected to exceed 634.9 billion dollars by 2034. These figures highlight the NOV zone’s alignment with global market trends and its strong economic potential.

Türkiye is also experiencing significant momentum in this sector. The market’s growth in recent years demonstrates the country’s dynamic potential in natural, organic, and vegan products. Rising demand is providing Turkish producers with both domestic expansion opportunities and a competitive edge in international markets.

In light of these developments, NOV is positioned not merely as a product showcase, but as an influential trade platform that accelerates Türkiye’s sustainable production ecosystem, supports exports, and directly contributes to the national economy.
