
ISTANBUL — A training program jointly launched by Hepsiburada and KAGİDER has significantly increased the business performance of women entrepreneurs, with participants reporting nearly a 70% rise in order volumes.
The initiative, titled “Your Companion is Here” (“Yol Arkadaşın Burada”), aims to equip women entrepreneurs with the skills needed to succeed in e-commerce. More than 1,000 participants completed a total of 52 hours of training across 23 different subject areas.
Strong Growth and Digital Transformation
According to program data, participants experienced a substantial increase in sales performance following the training. Order volumes rose by nearly 70% compared to pre-training levels, reflecting the program’s immediate business impact.
A key outcome of the initiative was the adoption of digital tools. Two out of every three participants began integrating artificial intelligence into their business processes. Additionally:
- Over 50% improved product visuals using professional techniques
- 46% started producing video content to better engage customers
- 83% reported increased confidence in growing their businesses
International Participation and Broad Reach
The program attracted entrepreneurs from 30 cities across Türkiye, as well as participants from countries including the Netherlands, the United States, Canada, and Spain. The majority of participants were women aged between 25 and 45.
Mentorship Phase Begins
Following the completion of the training phase, the program has moved into its next stage. Twenty-five selected entrepreneurs will receive six months of mentorship from experienced business leaders within KAGİDER’s network.
Organizers stated that the mentorship phase will further support participants in scaling their businesses, strengthening branding strategies, and preparing for potential investment opportunities.
A Model for Public-Private Collaboration
Program representatives emphasized that the initiative serves as a strong example of cooperation between the private sector and civil society. They highlighted its broader goal of fostering inclusive and sustainable economic growth by empowering women entrepreneurs.
