
Turkiye’s State Railways (TCDD) Transportation has announced a significant increase in high-speed train ticket prices. The Istanbul-Ankara route now costs ₺540, marking a 25.6% price hike overnight.
TCDD Transportation has raised high-speed train ticket prices across all routes by 25.6% as of midnight. The Ankara Gar-Istanbul Sogutlucesme ticket price has surged from ₺430 to ₺540.
Similarly, ticket prices for Ankara-Eskisehir, Ankara-Konya, and Ankara-Sivas have been adjusted accordingly.
The Eskisehir-Ankara YHT ticket has also seen an increase, rising from ₺225 to ₺280 with this latest adjustment.
Over the past eighteen months, high-speed train ticket prices have escalated by 151.2%.
