Hubbox, which provides remote management of automation systems by turning large, specialized, difficult to reach and expensive systems into IoT services, received an investment of $7 million from Keiretsu Forum Turkiye. Hubbox is preparing to put its system into service in March, which will notify the earthquake disaster before it reaches the living and industrial areas.

Hubbox, which started the R&D process of the platforms on which its products will operate, in 2015, turns large, hard-to-reach and expensive systems that require expertise to use into IoT services. Hubbox primarily produces IoT devices that provide remote access to industrial machinery and automation systems. However, with the guidance of its customers and the requests of its competitors for additional products and services, it started to develop products on data collection systems.

We started mass production of our products in 2021

Stating that the solutions developed by Hubbox are used in the service of the machinery and automation industry in more than 80 countries, Hubbox Founding Partner Mehmet Bilgi said, “In 2018, we sent our MVP products to many companies for testing. In 2020, we offered our products to the use of the machinery and automation industry. In 2021, we started the mass production of our products and we are still continuing to develop them. In this context, we serve our machinery and automation customers with services such as data collection, remote access and sensor gateway that will work with our Hubbox Connect X1 product.”

System to predict earthquake

Adding that they have developed systems that predict earthquakes, Bilgi said, “As Hubbox, we are working on earthquake-related products with our IoT devices that we produce for EDIS Earthquake and Disaster information systems, of which we are a partner. We are developing systems and products that can inform the earthquake disaster, which our country faces the most painful consequences in 2023 and before, even before the earthquake reaches the living and industrial areas. In 2023, we will start to offer this service, which covers Istanbul and the Marmara region, to our customers as of March.

We distinguish ourselves from our competitors with our innovative and innovative perspective.

We have sold over 3000 of our IoT devices and services since Q2 2021. We have more than 500 customers from the machinery and automation sector. Our competitors are products of European and US origin. Although all of them do the same job as us and try to produce the same result, we differ from them with our innovative and innovative perspective. Our competitors apply quotas in many areas such as the number of users, the amount of access and the data size. As Hubbox, we think that there should be no restrictions in any system. With the verification and system login methods we have developed, we ensure that companies and people using our products can access their systems in the most secure way from anywhere at any time. We support our products with as simple and understandable interfaces as possible. In this way, our customers do not experience any problems when switching from competing products. Our revenue model is dealer channel and direct product sales, additional service sales with our products, regular SaaS income with new services, IoT device production for contracted companies and sales of new IoT products and services. Since the day it was founded, our company has focused on producing high-tech products and developing the products and services that our country tries to obtain from foreign sources. Since we also develop our own hardware to run the software we have developed, we make great efforts to follow the world and adapt to the developing technologies. Our R&D studies continue unceasingly and continuously.”

Providing information about the targets and plans, Bilgi said, “With the investment we received from Keiretsu Forum Turkiye angel investors, our target in 2023 will be to start our company’s overseas operations and to take the first steps to become a global company. In this context, we will both participate in international fairs and visit fairs. We will further strengthen our team in order to increase the domestic and international sales capacity of our company. Together with our new products and services, we will develop the product range of our company in the SaaS revenue model, and we will focus on producing more products and services in this field.”
