IC Holding Signs Partnership to Take Data Center Solutions Global

ISTANBUL (AA) — IC Holding has signed a memorandum of understanding with Future Enerji (FE) and Japan-based Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) to bring data center solutions developed in Türkiye to global markets.

According to a company statement, IC Holding—operating in construction, energy, and infrastructure—has entered into a strategic international collaboration in the data center sector.

Under the agreement, the parties aim to export data center solutions developed in Türkiye to international markets. The initiative will focus on launching high-efficiency, AI-driven data center investments across Türkiye, Europe, and the Middle East.

The partnership will design projects ranging from modular systems to hyperscale data centers, with investment and implementation processes structured accordingly.

A joint solution model—referred to as the “Joint Solution”—will initially be implemented in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Spain, and Finland. The goal is to develop this model into a comprehensive solution package for global markets.

The collaboration aims to carry Türkiye’s engineering expertise into international markets, particularly in high-tech fields such as data centers.

The project will focus on key components of data centers, including mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure systems. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries will contribute its global experience in modular design and critical equipment supply, while IC Holding will provide construction capabilities. Group affiliate Treysan will support manufacturing of modular components, and Future Enerji will contribute investment and structuring expertise.

The initiative also prioritizes the effective use of local production and the strengthening of domestic technological infrastructure. Projects will incorporate advanced technologies ranging from emergency generators to high-efficiency industrial cooling systems, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and operational excellence.

IC Holding CEO Can Çaka stated that data centers are essential components of the digital economy, emphasizing the growing importance of secure and sustainable investments amid rapidly increasing global data traffic.

“We aim to demonstrate the competitive strength of Turkish engineering on a global scale by exporting our integrated solution model across a wide geography from Europe to the Middle East,” Çaka said.
