IGA organizes the “Sculpture from Waste” competition as part of the ArtWist Project

Applications can be made to the “Sculpture from Waste” competition organized by Istanbul Airport Administration (IGA) within the scope of the ArtWist Project 2021 project until November 5th.

According to the statement on the “igartwist.com” website, within the scope of the ArtWist Project, IGA Airport Operations Inc. organized the “Sculpture from Waste” competition for students who have graduated from undergraduate, graduate, art proficiency programs in Fine Arts and Architecture-Design departments of universities in Turkey in the last 1 year or who are studying in one of these departments as of 2021.

With the project, it is aimed to develop the awareness of “waste material” management, to provide social and economic benefits for disadvantaged groups, and to support the artist candidates who have set their heart on the art of sculpture in order to reach the zero waste goal. Artist candidates will be able to participate in the competition with the works they create using waste.

₺10 thousand for the first place, ₺7 thousand 500 for the second place and ₺5 thousand for the third place will be awarded until 5 November.
