Institutions say they will continue to monitor global health situation
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group’s (WBG) annual meetings will take place in person this year, according to the institutions.
The meetings from Oct.10 16 will be held at the IMF and WBG headquarters in Washington D.C., it said Monday.
Registration will be available for all categories of participants, such as delegates, observers, guests, civil society organizations and media members.
“Virtual audiences will be able to follow public events on IMF and World Bank digital platforms,” it added.
The IMF and WBG said they will continue to monitor the global health situation and make changes to plans under relevant World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control guidance if needed.
Annual meetings in 2020 and 2021 were held virtually because of the coronavirus pandemic.
