InDrive, a global mobility and urban services platform, is coming to Ankara. The service will only be used by registered users and official taxi drivers. inDrive launched car pickup and courier delivery services in Istanbul last November. The results showed that the inDrive model was very popular in Turkiye.

InDrive Turkiye Business Development Manager Maksim Osipov said in a statement:

“Our work in Istanbul is going well. Istanbulites can use our service in every part of the city. We successfully cooperate with about half of the official taxi drivers working in Istanbul. We will apply the same approach in Ankara.”

The passenger determines the price: The application does not determine the price of the journey. It is determined by the result of the bids of the users.

Equal rights and approach: inDrive aims to provide transparent and mutually fair conditions to people. Drivers see the price and destination suggested by the passenger before accepting the ride offer. They can accept or reject any offer with no fees or penalties. Drivers can also counter-bid if they think the price is unfair.

Freedom of choice: Both drivers and passengers can choose each other based on ratings and mutual references from previous users. After the completion of each journey, the driver and passenger can evaluate each other.

inDrive places great emphasis on the safety of its passengers. The app has the world’s best security features including a dedicated emergency button to share live details of one’s trip with friends and family, call the police or an ambulance.

Due to the tragic earthquakes in Turkiye, inDrive has decided to set a 0% service charge for drivers until the end of 2023. The company donated to the Turkish Red Crescent after the earthquake, and the allocated money was spent on food, hygiene products and other needs.
