According to the 13-19 February flight report of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL), Istanbul Airport became the busiest airport in Europe with 1280 daily flights.
According to the report, after Istanbul Airport, London Heathrow Airport ranked second with 1152 daily flights, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport was third with 1121 flights, Amsterdam Airport was fourth with 1051 flights, and Madrid Airport was fifth with 993 flights.
