The Istanbul Ready-to-Wear and Fashion Fair (IFCO) is set to attract international purchasing delegations, with a focus on European countries, the UK, Russia, Turkish republics, North Africa, and the Middle East, showcasing Turkiye’s fashion industry on a global stage.

Istanbul is gearing up to host the Istanbul Ready-to-Wear and Fashion Fair (IFCO), a prestigious event set to attract approximately 10,000 buyers from around the world. Mustafa Pasahan, Vice President of the Istanbul Ready-to-Wear and Apparel Exporters’ Association (IHKIB), announced that purchasing delegations will be arriving from various countries and regions, including EU nations, the UK, Russia, Turkish republics, North Africa, and the Middle East.

The 6th edition of IFCO will take place from August 7-9 at the Istanbul Fair Center. According to Pasahan, the fair has achieved significant success since its inaugural event in February 2022 and plays a crucial role in showcasing the strength of Turkiye’s ready-to-wear industry.

Pasahan emphasized that IFCO is a key milestone in Istanbul’s ambition to become a global fashion hub. He expressed pride in having created a major brand like IFCO and organizing Europe’s largest ready-to-wear and fashion fair. Istanbul, as Turkiye’s fashion capital, is the ideal location for bringing together trends, fashion, design, brands, trade, and collaborations. İHKİB aims to launch a new era in the ready-to-wear sector through IFCO, which is expected to positively impact Turkiye’s fashion export market.

The fair will span 30,000 square meters across five halls, and it is anticipated that around 25,000 buyers, including 10,000 international guests, will attend. Exhibiting companies will meet with purchasing delegations from thousands of firms across Europe, the UK, Russia, Turkish republics, North Africa, and the Middle East. Pasahan believes that the synergy created at IFCO will have a positive effect on Turkiye’s ready-to-wear exports in the coming months. He also expressed confidence that IFCO will soon be recognized among the “Prestigious Fairs” for its contributions to promoting Turkiye’s fashion industry.
