Increased Ferry Services and New Routes to Meet Passenger Demand from June 17 to September 8

The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) has announced that its City Lines ferry services will transition to a summer schedule from June 17 to September 8. According to İBB’s statement, the summer timetable includes adjustments based on passenger volumes, with increased sailings on several routes.

Notably, the Beşiktaş-Adalar route will feature two additional sailings compared to the 2023 summer schedule. The Ortaköy-Beşiktaş-Eminönü route will also see two additional sailings on weekends and public holidays.

The Aşiyan-Anadoluhisarı-Küçüksu route will have one additional sailing, while the Sarıyer-Rumeli Kavağı-Anadolu Kavağı route will now include two new sailings: Anadolu Kavağı to Poyraz and Poyraz to Anadolu Kavağı.

Since 2019, İBB City Lines has launched 10 new routes aimed at increasing the share of sea transport in public transit. These routes include Aşiyan-Anadolu Hisarı-Küçüksu Ring, Beykoz Sarıyer, Aşiyan-Üsküdar, Kadıköy-Haliç, Beşiktaş-Haliç, Bostancı-Moda-Karaköy-Kabataş, Maltepe-Adalar, Bostancı-Adalar Ring, Çengelköy-Kabataş, and Ortaköy-Beşiktaş-Eminönü. Additionally, City Lines will continue its traditional Moonlight Tours every Saturday throughout the summer. These evening tours will operate on the Bostancı-Kadıköy-Eminönü-Üsküdar-Beşiktaş-Rumeli Kavağı-Anadolu Kavağı route.

Bosphorus Tours will also be available, with the “Long Bosphorus Tour” and “Short Bosphorus Tour” each running once daily. On public holidays and festive days, the Short Bosphorus Tour will operate twice a day.
