Japan tops the strongest passports in the world in 2020, Afghanistan has the weakest passport 1

Japan passport ranked the strongest passport in the world in 2020, allowing its holder to travel to 191 countries without a prior visa. It holds the same positions from last two years. Singapore passport comes in the 2nd positions and Afghanistan passport is the weakest passport in the world in 2020, allowing its holder to travel to only 26 countries without a prior visa .

The Henley Passport Index is the ranking of all the world’s passports according to the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa. The ranking is based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which maintains the world’s largest and most accurate database of travel information.
