AI-Powered Turkish Cargo Vehicle Karay-M Sets Sights on European Market

BULAQ Technology’s Autonomous Load-Carrying Platform Aims to Compete in Europe with Voice-Controlled Innovation.

AI-Driven Cargo Innovation Targets Europe

BULAQ Technology, based in Ostim Teknopark, is poised to revolutionize the logistics and agriculture sectors with its AI-powered autonomous vehicle, “Karay-M.” Designed to carry loads and perform a range of tasks including surveillance and agricultural spraying, the vehicle is now eyeing the European market for expansion.

Voice-Controlled and Autonomous

The “Karay-M” is not just another cargo vehicle. With its advanced AI system, it can respond to voice commands and even engage in conversations with users. This feature, combined with precise GPS tracking and image processing, allows the vehicle to navigate challenging terrains and follow specific routes while carrying up to 350 kilograms.

Aşkan Jalali, the co-founder of BULAQ Technology, highlighted the vehicle’s capabilities, stating, “Karay-M’s ability to understand and execute voice commands makes it a perfect fit for industries that require high efficiency and automation. We believe this technology will allow us to compete effectively in the European market, particularly in sectors embracing Industry 5.0.”

Versatile Applications Across Industries

The vehicle’s versatility is one of its strongest points. Whether it’s transporting materials in construction sites or spraying pesticides in agriculture, “Karay-M” adapts to various environments:

  • Precision Agriculture:
In agriculture, the vehicle significantly reduces costs by replacing traditional spraying methods that are less efficient and more labor-intensive. Its ability to spray areas that drones or tractors can’t reach ensures thorough coverage, particularly in vineyards and orchards.
  • Security and Surveillance:
The vehicle’s surveillance capabilities, enhanced by its AI, make it ideal for security operations in both industrial and agricultural settings.

Patents and Technological Advancements

BULAQ Technology isn’t just stopping at voice-controlled vehicles. The company has filed patents for several cutting-edge technologies, including a system for precise pesticide application, ensuring that only targeted areas are treated. This precision minimizes waste and environmental impact.

Further, Jalali discussed ongoing projects like the “Seismic Data Processing Based Under Debris Human Detection System” which detects people trapped under rubble, and the “Dynamic Digital Twin Mapping System,” which creates real-time digital twins of physical assets for accurate mapping.

Looking Ahead: Expansion Plans

With a ready-to-launch product and ongoing negotiations with international partners, BULAQ Technology aims to penetrate the highly competitive European market. Their initial focus is on countries like Azerbaijan, with plans to expand further into Europe.

Jalali remains confident in their competitive edge: “We are ready to take on the European market. Our combination of cost-efficiency and high quality will enable us to compete with established players.”

BULAQ Technology Pioneering Innovation in Robotics

BULAQ Technology’s journey from a small team to a contender in the European robotics market is a testament to their innovation and determination. With “Karay-M” leading the charge, the company is set to make significant strides in the coming years, contributing to the evolution of smart industries and agriculture.
