Karmod announced a surge in demand for its rainwater harvesting storage tanks, delivering more than 100 projects in the first half of 2025. According to the company’s statement, factories, luxury villas, and social facilities have been the leading buyers of these sustainable water management systems.
Selçuk Kaya, Sales Manager of Karmod’s Plastic Group, emphasized that businesses are increasingly turning to eco-friendly solutions amid the growing impacts of global warming.
“From the demand for our rainwater harvesting storage tanks, we can see that companies are moving toward sustainable solutions. They primarily use the harvested water for landscape irrigation and general-purpose water needs,” Kaya said.
Kaya highlighted that the company also produces underground-ready tanks with special pump compartments, offering single-body units with capacities up to 100 tons. These tanks, designed for underground installation, feature maintenance hatches and are engineered for high durability, enabling long-term use without maintenance.
The harvested rainwater, collected from gutters and similar catchment areas, is filtered before storage. The system can be integrated with a pump to supply water for irrigation, general facility needs, and even as part of firewater storage systems in industrial facilities.
