A Turkish court has declared the bankruptcy of Bil-Naz Tarım İlaçları ve Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti., a Konya-based agricultural chemicals and products company that had been operating for nearly three decades. The ruling officially initiates the company’s liquidation process.
According to the decision issued by the 3rd Commercial Court of First Instance in Konya, the company was deemed bankrupt effective April 17, 2026. The ruling became final on May 12, 2026, after which the 1st Enforcement Office of Konya announced that the company would be liquidated under Turkey’s standard bankruptcy liquidation procedure.
Founded on January 3, 1997, and registered with the Konya Trade Registry, Bil-Naz Tarım operated in the agricultural pesticides and agricultural products sector. The company had a registered capital of TRY 50,000 and maintained commercial operations for approximately 29 years before the bankruptcy decision was finalized.
Creditors and Debtors Given One-Month Deadline
As part of the bankruptcy proceedings, authorities issued a public notice outlining the obligations of parties with financial claims involving the company. Creditors and individuals or entities claiming rights over the company’s assets must submit their claims and supporting documentation to the Konya Enforcement and Bankruptcy Office within one month of the notice.
Debtors who owe money to the company are also required to declare their liabilities within the same period. Authorities warned that failure to comply could result in legal consequences under Turkey’s Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law.
In addition, any persons holding assets or property belonging to Bil-Naz Tarım have been instructed to surrender those assets to the bankruptcy administration. Officials stated that failure to do so could lead to the loss of priority rights and other legal sanctions.
The bankruptcy marks the end of a 29-year chapter for the Konya-based agricultural supplier and begins the formal process of settling its remaining obligations and assets.
