Konya-Based Anadolu Yemcilik Declares Bankruptcy

Anadolu Yemcilik, a Konya-based feed production company, has officially declared bankruptcy following significant financial difficulties. The company had previously filed for concordat (debt restructuring) as it struggled to manage its economic challenges.

On September 26, 2024, the Konya 3rd Commercial Court of First Instance granted Anadolu Yemcilik a three-month temporary respite to assess its financial situation. After the expiration of this period, the court re-evaluated the company’s status.

As a result, the court ruled for the bankruptcy of Anadolu Yemcilik ve Tarim Urunleri Sanayi Ticaret Limited Sirketi.

The bankruptcy decision became legally binding as of January 10, 2025.

This marks the end of the road for a once-prominent player in the agricultural and feed production sector, underscoring the growing financial pressures on businesses in the industry.
