$1.1 billion investment from Hayat Holding

Despite the pandemic, Turkish companies continue their growth moves in the global arena. The last move came from Hayat Holding. Hayat Holding, which includes Hayat Kimya, the manufacturer of brands such as Evony, Molfix, Molped, Bingo, Papia, and Kastamonu Entegre, the leader of the wood-based panel industry, announced its investments of $1.1 billion in total, primarily in Turkey, as well as in the Middle East, Africa and Asian countries. Saying that they will continue their investments in Turkey and abroad, Hayat Holding Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer M. Avni Kigili said, “Despite all restrictions, lockdowns and travel difficulties, we have successfully completed our first $400 million investment since the first quarter of 2020. We pressed the button for our $700 million investments. We will continue our investments without neglecting our country. We will make half of the investments in Turkey and the other half abroad.”

ESTABLISHED A BASE IN VIETNAM

Saying that after Turkey, the Middle East and Africa, they are now turning to Southeast Asia with a strategic investment, M. Avni Kigili announced that they opened a diaper factory in Vietnam with an investment of $100 million. Underlining that they will never neglect Turkey in investment, Kigili stated that all these investments also contribute to employment. Avni Kigili, “Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have created more than 2000 additional employment, and we will provide employment opportunities for 1,600 more people with our new investments.”

RENOVATED ITS LOGO

HAYAT Holding will announce its new logo, which defines its vision for globalization, with a large digital launch with the participation of 22 thousand employees, business partners and press members from many countries of the world, especially in Turkey, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Iran, Pakistan, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. At the launch, the company’s vision for the future, integrated with its new corporate identity, will be shared.
