Local startup Newky, which makes biometric verifications, announced its cooperation with Lojipark

Newky, one of the Cube Incubation initiatives, the incubation center of Teknopark Istanbul, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Lojipark today.

Setting out with the motto of the digital key to the physical world, Newky provides the user with the vehicle, equipment, hardware, etc., thanks to biometric-based multi-factor authentication (MFA). allows the elements to match. Thanks to its value proposition, it prevents vulnerabilities such as fraud and abuse. Combining its value proposition with Lojipark, a technology company that offers both a marketplace application and B2B SaaS solution to logistics companies in order to easily manage their operations, access a large pool of carriers and digitize processes, Newky has produced a digital solution in the field of security for the logistics industry.

In the panel held before the signing ceremony, it was emphasized that besides the benefits of digitalization to the logistics industry, the issue of cyber and physical security should be handled in a hybrid way. Panelists agreed that digitalization will speed up the business processes of logistics companies, reduce costs and increase efficiency. In addition, it was stated that technologies such as biometric-based multi-factor authentication used in logistics can prevent security vulnerabilities such as abuse and theft.

Another issue was the difficulties that logistics companies may face in disaster situations. Panelists stated that in disaster situations, logistics companies can intervene more quickly and effectively and use resources more efficiently thanks to digitalization. At the panel, information was also given about the studies on digitalization and security in the logistics industry around the world. In particular, it was stated that logistics companies in Asia and Europe are leaders in digitalization, while digitalization in other regions has not yet developed enough. In addition, it was underlined that Turkish logistics companies are in a better position compared to their international competitors in finding digital solutions to eliminate physical and cyber-oriented problems.

Finally, the importance of collaborating with startups was mentioned by the panelists in order to establish and maintain competitive advantages compared to their national and international competitors. It was stated that it is also important for logistics companies to cooperate with startups specializing in technology within the framework of open innovation, transferring R&D costs to startups and gaining together.
