Sony has announced a significant price increase for PlayStation Plus subscriptions in Türkiye, effective from June 24, 2025. The company informed users via email, revealing that the cost of annual Deluxe and Extra packages will rise sharply—by over 55%.
According to Sony’s statement, only the new prices for the 12-month Deluxe and Extra plans have been confirmed so far:
- 12-Month Deluxe Plan: Increasing from 2,740 TL to 4,266 TL (a 55.69% hike)
- 12-Month Extra Plan: Increasing from 2,340 TL to 3,645 TL (a 55.76% hike)
This marks one of the largest price increases ever recorded for the top-tier PlayStation Plus subscription options in Türkiye.
When Will the New Prices Take Effect?
The updated prices will be effective starting June 24, 2025. Users who wish to lock in current pricing or extend their existing subscriptions are encouraged to act before this date.
More Increases Could Follow
While Sony has only disclosed the updated prices for the annual Deluxe and Extra plans, the sharp 55% increase suggests that similar adjustments may soon apply to other PlayStation Plus subscription tiers as well.
