Message from Russia to Turkiye about the gas center: Decision in 2023

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak said, “Gazprom is actively working with our Turkish colleagues for the gas center in Turkiye. A mechanism can be established in Turkiye for pricing.”

Russian Deputy Prime Minister made statements on the agenda to a Russian channel.

Stating that Russian gas is cheap and demand continues, Novak said that intensive work is being carried out with Turkish authorities for the natural gas center planned to be established in Turkiye.

Novak said, “I hope to take action for a natural gas center in Turkiye in 2023.”

He also noted that the center, which is planned to be established in Turkiye, can create a mechanism for pricing natural gas.
