Metgün Enerji Reports TRY 1.2 Billion Net Profit in First Half of 2026

ISTANBUL — Metgün Enerji, one of Türkiye’s leading energy companies, reported a net profit of TRY 1.2 billion in the first half of 2026, while its revenue reached TRY 773 million.

The company, which completed its initial public offering in July and attracted approximately 1 million investors, said it maintained its profitable growth momentum during the first six months of the year.

Gross Profit Reaches TRY 165 Million

Metgün Enerji General Manager Uğur Işık said the company remained focused on profitability and financial efficiency during the first half.

Revenue reached TRY 773 million, while gross profit stood at TRY 165 million. The company’s assets increased 2% to TRY 24.3 billion, while shareholders’ equity rose 17% to TRY 17 billion.

Işık said the company would continue working toward its growth targets during the remainder of the year.

Renewable Capacity Reaches 274.44 MW

Metgün Enerji also expanded its renewable energy portfolio during the first half of the year. The company commissioned the Elmacık Wind Power Plant in June.

With the new facility, Metgün Enerji now has renewable power plants with a combined installed capacity of 274.44 MW.

Işık said the company aims to build a strong and balanced generation portfolio while maintaining its focus on sustainability and contributing to Türkiye’s long-term energy transition.
