In a statement issued by the Ministry of Trade, it was reported that Minister Ömer Bolat will make an official visit to Belgium tomorrow to perform the official opening of the Turkish Exporters Assembly’s (TİM) Brussels Representation.
The statement mentioned that during his visit, Bolat is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice President of the European Commission, and meet with representatives of the Belgian business community.
The statement outlined the role of the TİM Brussels Representation in analyzing and communicating relations between Turkish exporters and EU institutions, European governments, the European business community, and the international public opinion. It is anticipated to represent Turkish exporters and Turkey itself within many think tanks with significant contributions to EU decision-making processes, as well as to conduct regular meetings with EU member state ministers, Members of the European Parliament, officials of the European Commission, ambassadors, and officials of international organizations.
Furthermore, the representation is expected to closely monitor developments within the EU, ensuring the flow of information to exporters and sectors, with the aim of serving as a joint service for all unions and sectors.
