Fatih Donmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, announced that the sales amount of boron products by the General Directorate of Eti Mine Works (Eti Mine) as of October 2021 is 2.1 million tons.
CHP Nigde Deputy Omer Fethi Gurer submitted a question to the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Fatih Donmez, regarding the boron-containing cleaning materials and disinfectants produced and sold by Eti Mine and its affiliated companies.
Answering CHP’s Gurer’s parliamentary question, Minister Donmez stated that the boron products produced by Eti Mine are used in the glass, agriculture, ceramics and cleaning sectors, and announced that the total sales of boron products was at the level of 2.1 million tons as of the end of October 2021.
Pointing out that the prices of boron products vary according to the competitive conditions in the market, on the basis of country, region and sector, Minister Donmez noted that for this reason, Eti Mine analyzes the changes in the market and the competitors and applies a dynamic pricing policy.
