Fatih Donmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, announced that after the discovery of 405 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the Black Sea, oil was discovered in 3 new wells on land.
In his post on his Twitter account, Minister Donmez stated that 6,800 barrels of daily production will be made from the 3 wells in question.
Noting that 2 thousand 800 barrels of oil will be produced from Akoba-1 well in Diyarbakir, 3 thousand from Yenisehir-1 well and one thousand barrels of oil per day from Misinli-2 well in Kirklareli, Donmez said, “After our discovery of 405 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the Black Sea, we discovered oil in 3 new wells on land. Good luck with our discoveries that we will produce 6 thousand 800 barrels per day.”
