Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan met with World Bank Turkey Country Director Humberto Lopez and his accompanying delegation to discuss potential areas of cooperation.
In a statement shared on his social media account, Minister Işıkhan described the meeting, held at the Ministry, as productive. He noted that they explored various collaboration opportunities and potential projects, particularly in the fields of employment and social security.
“We held a fruitful meeting with World Bank Turkey Director Mr. Humberto Lopez and his team at our Ministry,” said Işıkhan. “We discussed opportunities for cooperation and projects that we could develop across many areas relevant to our field, especially employment and social security.”
The meeting underscored the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international partnerships and develop joint initiatives aimed at enhancing Turkey’s labor and social security sectors.
