Minister Highlights Continuous Economic Growth Amidst Stable Investment Climate
Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacir announced that Turkiye is making significant strides in economic growth, driven by a reliable investment environment. In the first quarter of the year, the industry sector grew by 4.9%, and the information and communication sector saw a 5.5% increase.
Minister Kacir shared these insights on his social media account, referencing the Turkish Statistical Institute’s (TUIK) recently released data for the first quarter. He highlighted Turkiye’s impressive 5.7% economic growth during this period, marking 15 consecutive quarters of uninterrupted growth.
“The industry’s growth rate of 4.9% and the 5.5% growth in information and communication activities underscore Turkiye’s steady progress,” said Kacir. “With a dependable investment climate, Turkiye continues to move forward confidently.”
Kacir emphasized that all data confirm the effectiveness of Turkiye’s plans and programs. He affirmed the commitment to enhancing productivity and high-tech production to sustain the country’s growth and achieve lasting prosperity.
