
Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced the launch of the first call for the Local Development Initiative Incentive Program, with applications open from August 1 to September 30, 2025.
In a statement shared via social media, Kacır provided details on the initiative, which was unveiled by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan following a recent Cabinet meeting. Emphasizing the goal of achieving “Comprehensive Development” across the entire country—from east to west and north to south—Kacır stated:
“Under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we are launching the first call of the Local Development Initiative Incentive Program. We are providing support of up to 240 million Turkish lira for each of 324 investment areas across all 81 provinces. Application dates are between August 1 and September 30, 2025. The application portal is ‘https://yerelkalkinmahamlesi.sanayi.gov.tr‘.”
Kacır added that the program aims to unlock the potential of cities and promote new investments across a wide range of sectors, including industry, agriculture, technology, and tourism.
