We operate in our country on a 28,500-kilometer divided road and a road network extending to 70 thousand kilometers. Again, we hope to increase our railway line, which is 13 thousand 22 kilometers on the railroad, to 28 thousand kilometers in the coming years. We have increased the airport from 26 to 57 in airlines. We will complete this to 61 in the coming years. In other words, we have great works such as completing the infrastructure in all sectors in our country.”

“WORLD TRADE VOLUME IS 12 BILLION TONS”

Karaismailoglu, who also gave information about the world trade volume, said, “Our ports are the places where all of these are collected, together with the highway, airway and railway. We need to integrate them together. The trade volume in the world is currently 12 billion tons. By 2030, this trade volume will increase to 25 billion tons. Simulations and research show it. We are also working on increasing our share in this 25 billion-ton product volume. All sectors converge at the port. In other words, nearly 90% of the world trade volume of 12 billion tons is transported by sea. Our ports are indispensable here. At Ambarli Port we are in, you carry out 25% of the container transportation in Turkey. That’s why you are so precious. I hope that in the coming years, by increasing the capacity of this place, the contribution of exports here will be much more.”

These big transportation infrastructure moves we have made are the footprints of this and are being made for it. The increase in exports, production, employment and technology in our country, the increase in these export figures, all of them are the footsteps of a great Turkey, which will be among the top 10 developed economies of the world. There are no obstacles in front of us anymore. In the coming years, we will be among the top 10 developed economies of the world and we will be a global superpower that directs logistics movements in the world.”
