Regarding Borsa Istanbul, which has passed the 3,000 threshold, Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati said, “Our capital markets continue to deepen under the leadership of our stock exchange.”
Minister Nabati also stated the following in his statement on Twitter;
Between 1-18 August 2022, ₺13.6 billion foreign investment inflow was realized to companies traded on Borsa Istanbul and testing record levels.
Our policies, carried out with our Turkish Economy Model, are multifaceted and target-oriented. We will continue our steps to support the financial and capital markets, and we will continue to move forward with determination to become a growing Turkiye by producing.
Simultaneously, our CBRT gross reserves increased by ₺15.4 billion in a 3-week period. We are pleased with the high interest of foreign investors in terms of maintaining the environment of trust in our capital and money markets.”
Stock market rose in the first half of the day
On the other hand, BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul was stabilized in the range of 3.020-3,040 after hitting a record level of 3,051.83 points in the first half of the day.
