Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek announced plans to address rising housing and rental prices by enhancing urban transformation financing and increasing the housing supply.
In a statement on his social media account, Minister Şimşek outlined the establishment of Project Real Estate Investment Funds to support these efforts. He stated, “We will contribute to the financing of urban transformation and increasing the housing supply. This will lead to a decrease in housing and rental price increases, making housing more accessible for all segments of society.”
