
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change has announced the sale of 63 land plots in 20 cities across Turkey. The most expensive plot, located in Istanbul, is valued at 1.601 billion TL. According to the official announcement, buyers who pay in full will receive a 25% discount, or they can opt for a 25% down payment with the balance payable in 24 monthly installments.
Details of the Land Sale
The Urban Transformation Directorate, operating under the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, published the sales notice for 63 plots of land across 20 cities. The available plots are located in:
- Afyonkarahisar: 1 plot
- Aksaray: 6 plots
- Ankara: 15 plots
- Balikesir: 2 plots
- Denizli: 2 plots
- Elazig: 2 plots
- Gaziantep: 4 plots
- Istanbul: 10 plots
- Kayseri: 2 plots
- Kirklareli: 1 plot
- Kirsehir: 1 plot
- Kutahya: 1 plot
- Mersin: 2 plots
- Nigde: 4 plots
- Samsun: 1 plot
- Tekirdag: 4 plots
- Tokat: 1 plot
- Usak: 1 plot
- Van: 1 plot
The announcement also specifies that all sales are exempt from VAT.
Most Expensive Plot in Istanbul
The highest-valued land in the portfolio is a 157,000-square-meter small industrial zone located in Catalca, Ferhatpasa, Istanbul. The ministry has set its price at 1,601,400,000 TL.
Payment Options: 25% Discount or 24-Month Installments
Buyers opting for full payment will benefit from a 25% discount. Alternatively, buyers can choose a payment plan of 25% down payment, with the remaining balance payable in 24 equal monthly installments. The auction is scheduled for February 5, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
Previous Large-Scale Sales
In recent months, the Urban Transformation Directorate had placed 607 land plots in 51 provinces for sale, while TOKI (Housing Development Administration of Turkey) had also sold 882 land plots in 44 provinces.
