Mobilefest Digital Technologies Fair and Conference opens its doors on November 11 at Istanbul Congress Center.
According to the HIS Travel statement, Mobilefest, organized by His Fair Services (ExpoHIS), is preparing to bring together the digital technology ecosystem for the second time on 11-13 November 2021.
The event, which will bring together service and infrastructure providers and technology manufacturers, especially 5G, mobility, artificial intelligence and smart technologies, with local and foreign businesspeople and industry professionals in order to create new cooperation opportunities and income sources, will take place at the Istanbul Congress Center this year.
Aiming to be the most important technology fair of the region covering Eastern Europe, the Balkans, North Africa and Turkic Republics, where Turkey will be at the center, Mobilefest at the same time aims to pioneer the opening of domestic companies producing technology and services abroad, creating opportunities for exports and new collaborations, and increasing technology investments in Turkey.
Soner Seker, Mobilefest Fair Coordinator, whose views were included in the statement, stated that the development of the IT sector in a country is of great importance in terms of being a mature market, and said:
‘The IT sector market in Turkey is constantly growing in terms of investments, number of employees and government supports. In the sector, the number of software manufacturers has exceeded 150 thousand and most of them are under 35 years old. Turkey’s talent pool is growing day by day with engineers and software manufacturers and is supported by important projects such as ‘1 Million Software Developers’. With its proximity to major markets including the European Union, MENA and Central Asia, Turkey is within a 4-hour flight distance to an economy of 1.5 billion people and a sizeable economy of $24 trillion.
While it is possible to find technological solutions and suppliers under more favorable terms in Turkey compared to their counterparts abroad, investment costs are also very reasonable. Especially during the Covid-19 crisis, while technology companies experiencing disruptions in their supply chains were looking for new locations, Turkey has become one of the top choices in this sense. We, as Mobilefest, aim to demonstrate Turkey’s growing power in the field of technology. Turkey can be the technology base of the region.’

Soner Seker, who stated that they believe in the volume and potential of the information sector, which is growing and developing day by day, stated that they believe that Turkey’s exports, especially exports per kilo, will increase significantly with the information sector, that they will have positive effects on closing the current account deficit, and that employment in this field will increase.
Seker stated that Turkey’s future is here and made the following assessments:
