MultiPay Sees 70% Growth in Online Payment Transactions

MultiPay, the mobile wallet application of Multinet Up, recorded a 70% year-on-year increase in the number of payment transactions made through online platforms in 2025, according to data shared by the company.

In a statement, Multinet Up announced updated usage figures for MultiPay, which serves more than 1.5 million users. The platform processes an average of around 2 million transactions per day.

The number of online payment transactions carried out via MultiPay rose from 5.678 million in 2024 to 9.625 million in 2025, highlighting strong growth in digital and online payment methods.

Strong User Engagement with Campaigns

Campaigns offered through the MultiPay application throughout the year attracted significant user interest. During this period, 123,105 users benefited from tiered TatlıPara campaigns.

More than 42,000 users took advantage of campaigns offered by TrendyolGo, while campaigns by Pidem were used by over 24,000 users. These campaigns increased in-app engagement and strengthened users’ spending experiences.

Transaction Trends by Category

According to Multinet Up’s data, the coffee and beverage sector recorded the highest number of transactions in 2025, with more than 12 million transactions via MultiPay.

In the food category, hamburgers ranked first with over 6 million transactions, followed by home-style meals, which stood out with more than 5 million transactions.

Focus on Sustainable and Responsible Consumption

Commenting on the figures, Çağlayan Yıldırım, Deputy General Manager of Information Technologies at Multinet Up, said the 2025 data shows that digital payment habits continue to strengthen steadily.

Yıldırım noted that the 70% increase in online payment transactions demonstrates users’ growing preference for secure and fast solutions, adding that responsible consumption practices have become an integral part of this transformation.

He emphasized that Multinet Up views technology not only as a tool for operational efficiency but also as an ecosystem that supports conscious and sustainable consumption.

“As of 2025, more than 123,000 transactions were carried out at member merchants that we identify as responsible consumption points based on criteria such as environmentally friendly practices, sourcing from local producers, and offering healthy and fresh products. This shows that our users have embraced this approach and that interest in responsible consumption points continues to grow,” Yıldırım said.

He added that Multinet Up will continue to enhance both user experience and sustainable consumption practices through data-driven solutions in the coming period.
