MUSIAD President Kaan: Turkey has entered a renewal process to achieve its 2023 goals

“MUSIAD EXPO 2020 Trade Fair” continues its 3rd day with the participation of President Erdogan. Speaking at the event, Abdurrahman Kaan, President of the Independent Industrialists’, and Businessmen’s Association (MUSIAD), made good wishes about the fair, which was held with the pandemic measures.

Kaan stated that MUSIAD continued to operate with 315 active connection points both at home and abroad and served as an investment and trade bridge of Turkey within the scope of EXPO 2020, where 400 procurement committees from 50 countries were hosted. Pointing out that booths were attended to the fair from many countries such as Venezuela, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, and Germany, Kaan said:

‘’Projects that have become the new investment power of Turkey were exhibited in the Entrepreneurship Area, one of the first of this year’s fair. The high demand from Europe, Asia-Pacific, Eurasia, Africa, and MENA countries encouraged us to support our country’s new investment policies. Likewise, electric vehicles, the pride of our country, were also presented to the visitors within the scope of the Fair.

Caravan Tourism initiatives, a project designed by MUSIAD within the scope of developing new tourism resources and diversifying tourism investments, that we have presented to the public and have found a significant base for themselves are also exhibited for the first time at this year’s EXPO.”

Kaan stated that the Honorary Consuls came together at the fair and they held the “MUSIAD-World Honorary Consuls Trade and Diplomacy Summit” and announced that the MOU agreement was signed with new organizations from 4 continents.

Kaan underlined the support of President Erdogan and said:

“Our country has entered a renewal process to achieve its 2023 goals within the framework of a new economic road map based on price stability, financial stability and macroeconomic stability, based on three pillars under the leadership of Erdogan. It is also our greatest wish for Turkey to increase in production and industrialization power with both macro policies and legal reforms especially in investments and we will do whatever we can about it; because this is our new term exit slogan.”

Kaan pointed out that a country without a strong economy cannot protect its gains in other areas, and stated that as MUSIAD, they will take part in a new mobilization focused on stability, growth and employment.
