Kilis Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) President Mahir Can stated that the second OIZ will be a great solution to the unemployment problem of Kilis, and said, “We will provide employment to our citizens from Kilis. There will be no unemployed people in Kilis.”
Kilis Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) President Mahir Can said that in the province where 52 factories are in production, the machine park installation work of 15 factories and the construction work of 5 factories continue.
Stating that the factory chimneys continue to smoke even during the epidemic, OIZ President Can said, “The second OIZ will be a great remedy for the unemployment problem of Kilis. Kilis will have taken an important step towards becoming an industrial center with the factories. We will provide employment to our citizens of Kilis. Industry means factory, factory means production, employment. Employment means happy people who take home food. We, as the management, have been in this industrial zone for the last 3 years. May God be pleased with everyone who put stone on stone before us. However, I want to make a point. When we came to the management, there was about 30% occupancy. Now there is 100% occupancy. It is working at full capacity. We do not expect anything from anyone. Our struggle is for people, because our source is people. Our aim is to provide food to more homes, sustenance to more tables and to contribute to more national economy. To be enough for them to say “thank you”.
