Public bread sale points in northern Turkish city use Karmod cabins

Buffet cabins, now fully produced and shipped, began operation at bread sales points across Turkish Black Sea city of Ordu

Turkish building manufacturer Karmod announced that its buffet cabins have been chosen for use at public bread sales points managed by the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, a Black Sea provincial capital in northern Türkiye.

According to a company statement released on Monday, the buffet cabins, whose production has been completed and shipment dispatched, are now operational at various bread sales points across Ordu.

Zekai Kucuk, Karmod’s CEO, said the cabins help tens of thousands of fresh, healthy loaves of bread reach consumers safely each day in many cities across Türkiye.

Highlighting the role of the buffet cabins in ensuring the safe delivery of healthy bread to consumers, he emphasized: “We designed our buffet cabins with ergonomic and hygienic features suitable for bread sales. Loaves of bread can be easily displayed in the ready-made shelf system.”

He added that the bread is served hygienically and conveniently through a movable sales window. “With our ready-made concept specially designed for bread sales,we make it easier for municipalities to set up public bread sales points.”

“Our buffet cabins are ready for service as soon as they are placed in the designated location.”

Kucuk also said that, in the first phase, 14 kiosks were set up by the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality in several districts.

The municipality’s public bread sales operation, using Karmod kiosk cabins, provides 27,000 fresh loaves of bread daily, he added..
