Bizim Toptan will meet all of its electricity needs from solar energy, thanks to the roof type solar energy system installed in its store in Gebze.
According to the statement made by the company, Bizim Toptan is commissioning the solar energy system in its Gebze store as part of its clean energy investments to reduce carbon use and combat climate change.
With the 264 kWp installed power to be obtained with the commissioning of the system installed on the roof of the store, 107 percent of the electricity consumption in the store, that is, more than the entire electricity need of the store, will be met from solar energy. With this investment, Bizim Toptan aims to reduce carbon emissions by 141 tons per year. This equates to the amount of greenhouse gases that approximately 6,300 trees can clean in a year.
