
Rönesans Holding has signed a strategic partnership with Singapore-based SJ Group for the Eastern Mediterranean Petrochemical Industry Zone and Port (DAPEK) project in Adana’s Ceyhan district.
The collaboration brings together Rönesans Holding’s experience in large-scale infrastructure and investments with SJ Group’s global expertise in industrial planning, energy infrastructure, and investor networks.
Scope of the Partnership
Under the agreement, SJ Group will act as a management partner, contributing to:
- Strategic planning and positioning
- Land use and master planning
- Infrastructure and energy systems design
- Sustainability frameworks
- Attracting and integrating global investors
About the Project
The DAPEK project is being developed as a next-generation industrial and logistics hub located on Turkey’s Eastern Mediterranean energy and trade corridor.
The zone is designed to host:
- Petrochemical production
- Advanced materials industries
- Energy-focused investments
It will also integrate land, sea, and rail transport, offering comprehensive logistics solutions including storage and handling of liquid, gas, container, and bulk cargo.
Strategic Importance
The project is considered a nationally strategic investment, aiming to:
- Strengthen Turkey’s industrial infrastructure
- Reduce external dependency in petrochemicals
- Attract high-value international investments
SJ Group is expected to help position DAPEK as a global benchmark industrial zone, similar to leading models in Rotterdam and Singapore.
