Ak Yatırım, a subsidiary of Sabancı Holding, has entered into a strategic partnership with UK-based investment banking group BancTrust & Co., renowned for its expertise in emerging markets.
According to a statement from BancTrust, the collaboration aims to combine Ak Yatırım’s strong position in Turkey and strategic insights into the broader Eurasia region with BancTrust’s robust distribution and research platform, which spans Latin America, CEEMEA (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa), and frontier markets.
Carlos Fuenmayor, CEO of BancTrust, emphasized the increasing importance of Turkey and the Eurasia region within the global emerging markets (EM) investment landscape:
