Schneider Electric Partners with NVIDIA to Advance Next-Generation AI Data Centers

Paris — Schneider Electric has announced a strategic collaboration with NVIDIA to accelerate the development of next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) data centers, aiming to meet the rapidly growing global demand for AI infrastructure.

The partnership focuses on designing advanced data center architectures capable of supporting high-performance AI workloads, while improving energy efficiency and sustainability.

New Designs for AI Infrastructure

As part of the collaboration, the two companies will develop reference designs for AI data centers tailored to NVIDIA’s accelerated computing platforms. These designs are intended to simplify the planning, construction, and operation of facilities that handle increasingly complex AI applications.

The solutions will incorporate:

  • High-density power distribution systems
  • Advanced liquid cooling technologies
  • Integrated control and management systems

These innovations are expected to enable data centers to operate more efficiently while handling the significant energy demands of AI computing.

Addressing Rising AI Demand

The rapid adoption of AI technologies across industries has led to a sharp increase in demand for computing power and data processing capacity. This, in turn, is transforming how data centers are designed and operated.

Through the partnership, Schneider Electric will contribute its expertise in energy management and infrastructure, while NVIDIA will provide cutting-edge AI hardware and software technologies.

Focus on Sustainability and Efficiency

A key objective of the collaboration is to improve sustainability in AI data centers. The companies aim to optimize energy consumption and reduce environmental impact by using more efficient cooling systems and smarter infrastructure design.

The reference architectures are expected to help operators:

  • Reduce energy usage
  • Improve scalability
  • Accelerate deployment times
  • Enhance reliability of AI systems

Supporting the Future of AI

Executives from both companies emphasized that the partnership will play a crucial role in enabling organizations to fully leverage AI technologies.

By combining infrastructure expertise with advanced computing capabilities, the collaboration aims to remove technical barriers and support the widespread adoption of AI across sectors such as healthcare, engineering, and scientific research.

Toward AI Factories at Scale

The cooperation also lays the groundwork for future “AI factories”—large-scale, highly efficient data centers designed specifically for AI workloads. These facilities are expected to become a cornerstone of digital transformation as AI continues to expand globally.
