
The Silk Road Insurance Forum, bringing together international stakeholders from the insurance industry, will be held in Istanbul on March 25, hosted by Remed Global.
According to a statement from Remed Global, the event—organized in cooperation with STH at a hotel in Istanbul—will welcome participants from more than 20 countries, including 130 international partner organizations, presidents of insurance associations, senior executives from insurance companies, commercial attachés, and academics.
Held under the theme “Building Bridges to the Future of Insurance,” the forum will focus on the future of insurance, opportunities in the emerging Silk Road region, and global collaboration on smart insurance solutions.
Focus on Technology and Innovation
The forum’s main session, titled “TechBridge: Accessible and Smart Insurance Through Technology,” will explore industry trends and next-generation technologies such as agentic AI, generative artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
An additional session will feature presentations by insurtech startups, showcasing innovative products and sector-specific solutions.
Keynote Address on Digital Transformation
The forum’s special keynote address will be delivered by Sabine VanderLinden, Chief Executive Officer of Alchemy Crew Ventures, who will share global best practices on the impact of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies on the insurance sector, as well as insights into digital transformation.
Industry Report to Be Published
At the conclusion of the event, organizers will release the “Silk Road Insurance Sector Report,” aimed at strengthening cross-country sectoral cooperation and promoting a shared culture of digitalization within the insurance industry.
