Singapore Airlines celebrates 35th anniversary of Istanbul flights

Singapore Airlines celebrated the 35th anniversary of its Turkiye flights with an event held at IGA Istanbul Airport.

Singapore’s flag carrier airline, which started its first flight to Istanbul on October 29, 1987, held a ceremony at the international terminal for this special day before the flight to Singapore.

Singapore Airlines Turkiye General Manager Hongyao Hu, HAVAS Sales and Marketing Assistant General Manager Engin Idemen, the company’s flight partners in Turkiye, and IGA Istanbul Airport Aviation Development Manager Gokhan Dolek attended the ribbon cutting ceremony.

After the ceremony, chocolate was served to all passengers who checked in and boarded the plane.
