Şişecam has launched a new education and development initiative, Women Advancing into the Future, aiming to support the personal and professional growth of 900 young women across nine provinces in Türkiye. Applications for the program are open until September 7.
Marking its 90th year, Şişecam is celebrating with a social responsibility project designed to contribute to societal development and promote gender equality. The program targets young women aged 18–25 who are university students or recent graduates living in Istanbul, Kocaeli, Mersin, Eskişehir, Bursa, Kırklareli, Ankara, Balıkesir, and Denizli.
Technology, Innovation, and Leadership Focus
Organized in collaboration with the Turkishe platform, the program is structured around the themes of technology, innovation, and leadership. Participants will engage in a wide range of activities — from STEM and artificial intelligence training to self-awareness workshops, mentorship sessions, role model meetings, and project development marathons.
Throughout the program, Şişecam leaders and industry experts will guide participants, helping them turn their aspirations into reality. Graduates will not only gain knowledge and skills but also design impactful projects that contribute to society.
Core Values and Timeline
With gender equality, women’s empowerment, and scientific thinking as its core values, the program also encourages peer learning and experience-sharing. Training sessions will run from September 2025 to February 2026, with a graduation ceremony scheduled for March 2026.
