It was decided that some areas in Istanbul and Afyonkarahisar would be designated as technology development zones.
Presidential decisions on the subject were published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, it was decided in accordance with the Law on Technology Development Zones to determine the area whose borders and coordinates are specified as “Afyon-Usak Zafer Technology Development Zone Afyonkarahisar Organized Industrial Zone Technopark Additional Area”.
It was found appropriate to designate the areas whose borders and coordinates are shown in Istanbul as “Esenler Smart City-Oriented Specialized Technology Development Zone”.
With the President’s Decision, the borders of the “Hatay Mountain Gazelle Wildlife Development Area” were also changed.
With another decision, some areas in Mersin’s Mezitli district and Mugla’s Seydikemer district were removed from the forest boundaries.
